Our 6th and 7th graders remained hard at work as they continue their project with the Global School Twinning Network, an organization that establishes formal pairings between American Schools and Israeli Schools. Our school is paired with a school in Dimona, Israel.
Since the first introductions in the beginning of the Spring semester, our students have had Zoom meetings with the students in Israel, the most recent one featuring foods! Our students and the students in Dimona were asked to share photos and videos of their favorite family dishes, and then discuss them during a Zoom session during Sunday School. This was an exciting portion of the project, as the students continued to learn more about one another - how they’re both different and similar!
