Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. (2014) straddles a few big bodies of law: the nature of a corporation, free-exercise of religion, and healthcare. But the upshot of Hobby Lobby was to exempt from Obamacare's contraceptive mandate private corporations that objected to the mandate on religious grounds. What does this mean, and why is it noteworthy?
