Americans and the Holocaust - An Exhibition Tour

Sign up for an in-person guided tour of Americans and the Holocaust, a traveling exhibition on loan from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Register soon since the Brit Shalom group is limited to 20 people. To join the tour, gather at the Curtin Road entrance to Pattee library.

Penn State's Pattee and Paterno Libraries is one of 50 U.S. libraries selected to host Americans and the Holocaust* . This exhibition, shown between January 29 and March 10, examines the motives, pressures and fears that shaped Americans’ responses to Nazism, war and genocide in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s.

In dialogue with the travelling exhibition, the Eberly Family Special Collections Library will present Jewish Histories, an exhibition highlighting primary sources that document and preserve Jewish histories, creative works, and culture.

*Americans and the Holocaust: A Traveling Exhibition for Libraries is an educational initiative of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association. The Museum's exhibitions are also supported by the Lester Robbins and Sheila Johnson Robbins Traveling and Special Exhibitions Fund, established in 1990.
