On Saturday, November 19th, at 7:00 p.m., the University Baptist and Brethren Church (411 S. Burrowes St.) will be hosting a community viewing and conversation on After Parkland, a documentary about the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, FL. It is a large space and masks will be optional (the church usually has the windows opened a bit). UBBC has been a partner of Congregation Brit Shalom in our work on immigration, and we are delighted to be able to continue interfaith dialogues with them on important social issues impacting all of our communities.
