Please join us at the Lewistown Cemetery on Sunday, October 2 to participate in a congregation and school-wide Mitzvah project. We will be cleaning gravestones and tidying up the grounds in the Jewish part of the cemetery. This project is important for people of all ages to learn the importance of respecting cemeteries by keeping them clean, and honoring those who have passed.
All families are invited to the cemetery from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rabbi Ostrich will give opening remarks at 11 a.m., and there will be a demonstration on how to clean. This event is being held INSTEAD OF Religious School. Please bring siblings, family members and your teens!
